The melodies are slow and meditative, but constantly evolving and interesting to listen to. Oh, and the most important - this album is dark. Darker than the darkest Norwegian night. 10/10 from me, hoping to see "Kapittel II" one day. Favorite track: Fjellets Buk.

Kaptain Carbon While Kapittel does feel like a new classic in the field of dungeon synth, its dedication to the old and barren sounds of 90’s dark ambient and dungeon music is astounding. With two long tracks, Kapittel not only worships at the altar of old school DS but rather is its own subterranean lair complete with flickering torches fueled by its own wicked magic. Favorite track: Inn Blant Steiner.
